Sea Glass Blush

Inspired by a recent visit to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, where she was drawn to richly embellished contemporary artworks, Caron Brandajs returned to her studio and revisited a mixed media piece originally created during her university years. Layering the surface with hand-applied rose gold and ivory beads, she transformed the work into a tactile composition that celebrates texture, light and materiality. The piece reflects both her textile background and her continuing evolution as an artist, connecting past creativity with new inspiration.
