Ocean captures the spirit of experimentation that defined Caron's university years, where her background in textiles and fashion began to evolve into a more expressive fine art practice. Created using layers of mixed media, the piece combines paint, textured materials and translucent washes to build depth, movement and atmosphere.

Inspired by the ever-changing colours and rhythms of the sea, soft aqua blues, muted greys, delicate blush tones and subtle hints of gold drift across the surface like light reflecting on water. The composition balances spontaneity with quiet harmony, inviting the viewer to discover new details with every glance.
